About Nueva Andalucia: 

Nueva Andalucia is one of the five districts that make up Marbella, including the famous Puerto Banus. Considered one of the most luxurious areas in Marbella, Nueva Andalucia has everything you could need within walking distance. The borough also boasts some of Marbellas most exclusive villas and apartments making this neighbourhood prime real estate for buyers and investors. Key Locations

Puerto Banús

Puerto Jose Banus needs no introduction. For over 50 years, it has been a place for the jet set of world.  Living in Puerto Banus means luxury apartment or luxury duplex living such as those offered at the Gray D’Albion complex.

On the 20th of July of 2020, Puerto Banus celebrated 50 years. Within the actual port, there are over 200 shops, 916 berths, 100 restaurants. The port oozes luxury. Outside the port, one of Spains largest El Corte Ingles can be found on the top of Antonio Banderas plaza. During the summer months, the plaza sets up an international world market where visitors can find clothes, food, gifts from every corner of the world. 

The Golden Mile

The Golden Mile stretches from the famous Marbella Club hotel to Puerto Banus. These luxury properties are normally beach front with easy access to all amenities.


The Golden Mile, known as such because of the traditional value of properties on this avenue. Here you will find the residences of the King of Saudi Arabia whose palace looks out over the Mediterranean Sea from the foot of the Sierra Blanca hills, the mansion of the Duchess of Alba and many other fascinating homes.

Sierra Blanca

Found at the foot of the Sierra Blanca mountain range, this exclusive neighbourhood looks out over the whole of the bay of Marbella. Known for its exclusive villas, property in this area is in high demand.

Nueva Andalucia

Nueva Andalucia looks out over Puerto Banus and is home to some of the most important golf courses in the world. Bars, restaurants, shops and of course its famous port makes this spot a popular property location for buyers.

The golf courses are surrounded by private urbanization’s and the homes of some of Europe’s wealthiest. With easy access to dozens of restaurants, bars and amenities, this has quickly converted into one of the most demanded areas for foreign residents. An area where Spanish is barely spoken thanks to its international community.  Down from Golf Valley, you will hit Puerto Banus which needs know introduction. Maserati, Ferrari, Pagani you name it and you will find it in Puerto Banus parked in front of the super yachts of Europe. Puerto Banus also has over 200 of the worlds most luxurious retail outlets such as Dior, Versace, Gucci, to name just a few.

Marbella Centre

Marbella centre is famous for its labyrinth of tiny streets and alleys that surround the famous Orange Square. With charming boutiques and more typical Spanish restaurants, residences can be expected to be submerged in Spanish life.

Coming out of the old town will bring you to the Alameda Park filled with exotic plants and trees, leading down to an open exhibition area; where you can enjoy a permanent exhibition of Dali sculptures and temporary art and media exhibitions during the year. At the end of this strip, you will find the sporting port of Marbella and the maritime walk that stretches into Puerto Banus. The maritime is filled with restaurants of all gastronomies, with terraces facing out to the beautiful Mediterranean. A hype of activity on any given day for both residents and tourists.

East Marbella

East Marbella is home to some of the most unspoiled beaches of the city. Surrounded by dunes and small satellite towns with supermarkets, restaurants and bars, this is an oasis in an oasis.

Key locations within East Marbella include Elviria, Rio Real, El Rosario and Cabopino.

Perhaps the most picturesque of all the marinas on the Costa del Sol, this quaint little yacht harbour is a great alternative in East Marbella for food and social life.  It is charming, with an appealing array of restaurants, cafes and shops lining its quayside.

East Estepona

In recent years known as the home to the New Golden Mile, East Estepona starts on the edge of Guadalmina meaning it is only an 8 minute drive to Puerto Banus and a 15 minute drive to the centre of Marbella. 

By belonging to the neighbouring townhall, house prices in the area are considerably cheaper than its sister municipality of Marbella. Housing options of front line beach villas or sea views from the mountains are all an option along this stretch. It is an up and coming area that is worth consideration.

Los Flamingos

Los Flamingos, located in the Golden Triangle, has been a prime residential area for some time. Los Flamingos is found under the Sierra Bermeja mountain range with beautiful views across the Los Flamingos golf course, the surrounding hills and the coastal shoreline that stretches all the way to Gibraltar. 

In addition to being close to all amenities and a short drive to the famous Puerto Banus, the Villa Padierna Palace is located on the golf course. Similarly, a number of exclusive beach clubs are less than a 3km drive.


Sotogrande is an urbanization belonging to the Spanish municipality of San Roque in the Campo de Gibraltar region. The multiple sports facilities and the hotel offer in the area have led to it being considered one of the main luxury residential areas in  Europe. 

It has a census population of 2,584 inhabitants, although it is estimated that its total number of residents reaches 12,500 in the summer season.1 Some of the richest and most influential families in Spain and Gibraltar have permanent or holiday homes in Sotogrande. The regulars and inhabitants of Sotogrande are Peter Caruana, former chief minister of Gibraltar, Fabian Picardo, current chief minister of Gibraltar, 2 Emilio Botín, Ana Rosa Quintana, as well as Prince Luis Alfonso de Borbón, legitimist pretender to the throne of France.

San Pedro de Alcantara

Heading west you will find San Pedro de Alcantara, an ancient farming community, once famous for sugar cane, that today is a refreshingly unspoilt “pueblo” with an appeal all of its own.

Away from the hype of Puerto Banus yet only a five-minute drive, San Pedro has a 3km Boulevard Park walk which is ideal for families to spend an afternoon. Down on the coast you will find endless “chiringuitos” offering fresh local product. Up the town beside the Plaza de la Iglesia, you will find narrow streets which are packed with intriguing small shops, sidewalk cafes and bars.


On the border of Estepona lies Guadalmina which is divided into two areas, Guadalmina Alta which wraps around its golf course and Guadalmina Baja which is down in close proximity to the sea front. 

Guadalmina is an area which has a number of private gated communities for spacious apartment living or private plots for villa living. The choice is endless. There is also a large shopping complex with restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets and other services.
