For many people, Marianne is known as the founder of Maiti Homes, helping clients from around the world find their dream home on the Costa del Sol.
But beyond real estate, she also founded Maiti Nepal Marbella, a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Maiti Nepal and its work supporting women and children affected by trafficking, abuse and exploitation in Nepal.

What began as a visit to Nepal became something much more.
Meeting the women and children supported by Maiti Nepal gave Marianne a new perspective on what safety, opportunity and hope truly mean.
Seeing the work carried out by the organisation first-hand was both inspiring and life-changing.
It also marked the beginning of a commitment that continues today.

Every contribution helps provide vulnerable women and children with safety, education, healthcare and the opportunity to create an independent future.
Among the projects closest to her heart is Teresa Academy, where children receive not only an education, but also the care, stability and support they need to thrive
An Evening That Brings People Together
Each year, Marianne organises the Marbella Maiti Nepal Gala to raise funds and awareness in support of Maiti Nepal and the work carried out in Nepal.
The gala brings together local businesses, sponsors and supporters from across the Costa del Sol, united by a shared commitment to creating better opportunities for vulnerable women and children.
Over the years, it has become one of Maiti Nepal Marbella’s most important fundraising events, demonstrating the incredible impact a community can make when people come together for a common purpose.
